Rodents, mice, and rats are very common throughout the area. You can find rodents in new homes, where construction and clear-cutting land draws them out and forces them to find a new home. Often that becomes your home, and you don’t catch on until you spot the signs or hear scratching in the walls. By then the rodents may have been inside for months.

Rodents also turn up in older, more established areas where trees are larger and touch the home. A ditch or water source close to your home makes it a very conducive environment for rodents to live.

At Stampede Pest Control we use preventive measures by recommending rodent bait stations around the home. These are stations set up just in case a rodent comes creeping around. The rodent crawls inside, eats the bait, and heads off toward its water source, usually well away from your home, to lay to rest. We do exclusion work too. Rodents are our specialty, and we keep the price affordable.

Exclusion work is simply sealing up and preventing entry points for rodents. This ensures the problem won’t persist and keeps your pest control company from having to keep coming back out to deal with the rodent problem. It costs more up front, but over time it’s the part that actually ends the problem instead of managing it.
